First Gentleman

Did you ever hear the like?

First Gentleman

Have you ever heard anything like this?

Second Gentleman

No, nor never shall do in such a place as this, she being once gone.

Second Gentleman

No, and I never will, not in a place like this, once she is gone.

First Gentleman

But to have divinity preached there! did you ever dream of such a thing?

First Gentleman

But for them to be preaching about God there! Did you ever imagine anything like that?

Second Gentleman

No, no. Come, I am for no more bawdy-houses: shall’s go hear the vestals sing?

Second Gentleman

No, no. Come on, I’m done with brothels: How about we go hear the virgins sing?

First Gentleman

I’ll do any thing now that is virtuous; but I am out of the road of rutting for ever.

First Gentleman

I’ll do anything good now; but I’m done with the old ways of lust for good.
